Dr. Clauss is a native of Bristol, Connecticut, received his DMD degree from Temple University in 2000. He completed a one-year General Practice Residency in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 2001.
Dr. Clauss practiced general dentistry in both Plainville and Litchfield Connecticut before returning to the University at Buffalo to pursue specialty training in orthodontics. Since his graduation from the specialty program in 2007, he has practiced orthodontics in northwest Connecticut.
Dr. Clauss is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, Dental Society of Greater Waterbury, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and Phi Beta Kappa.
Dr. Clauss and his wife, Kelly, are pleased to make Connecticut their home with their son and their two dogs: Maisy, a Golden Retriever and Cooper, an English Bulldog.
